new blog -

check it out y’all.  this blog was really only for my 2009 summer in Cologne.  I have since returned to somewhat normalcy.

well, as normal as an architect can be I guess.

one of our many trips in the tram around Koln.

well

I didn’t expect it but the day ended quite emotionally.  not to say that I am not emotionally tied to Koln.  I most certainly am.  I just thought I would be able to keep it together a little more.  I got teary eyed when we hugged D and J and we saying goodbyes and outright cried after they were gone gone.  it was really hard to say goodbye to such wonderful people.  I really will miss seeing them every morning.  and also at school.

I guess deep down that was the heart of my really being emotional.  I’m a cryer you know.

D and J got us goodbye presents.  as if the incredible once-in-a-lifetime summer wasn’t enough!  I do not have enough words to describe my gratitude.
